Yanmega Variations

Woo, finally jumping on this bandwagon several months late. Pokemon Variations still exist, right?

But after looking at some of the fantastic ones out there, I came to a sudden realization that not a single Yanmega one existed. Either that, or Google is just failing me. So, I decided to right this wrong and try my hand at some variations! After all, I utterly adore Yanmega and dragonflies in general; they're one of the few real-life bugs I can tolerate. So I decided to base these variations off of some other Pokemon and on some real-life dragonflies. I might do more if people like them; I'll see.

Blue-Eyed Darner Variation: These variations are docile and smaller than the common Yanmega. Contest trainers prize them for their stained-glass window-like wings, so they are a popular choice for contest trainers. They are moderately powerful and are extremely quick and nimble on their feet, but because of their small wings, they walk more often than fly. Because of this, many trainers also keep them as pets. Halloween Pennant Variation: These variations are famed for their vicious tendencies. They are the most popular in terms of battling for their long fangs, sharp spikes, and bulky build. Despite their massive size, their three pairs of wings make them one of the fastest Bug-types around. However, they aren't very intelligent and largely rely on their trainers for instruction. Widow Skimmer Variation: By far the most popular choice for contest trainers, the Widow Skimmer Yanmega is covered in a shiny down, so much so that it often literally glows. This intelligent species holds itself with pride, often not taking commands from trainers it does not believe to be worthy of it. However, this shimmering Pokemon, so used to luxury, is not a very powerful Pokemon, and it is rarely seen with battlers. Inspirations: Widow Skimmer Dragonfly, Beautifly, Volcarona
